Press Cards
Our WireNews Press Card Programme provides press credentials and media identification for journalists, reporters, photographers, writers, broadcasters, bloggers, and independent media professionals worldwide.
Established in 2001, the programme was created to support independent journalism and provide media professionals with recognised press identification designed to assist in establishing professional standing and facilitating media access.
WireNews credentials are used by members across multiple countries and media sectors, reflecting more than two decades of continuous operation within the international media industry.
The programme is built upon principles of press freedom, independent reporting, and responsible journalism, supporting both established and emerging media professionals in an increasingly digital and global news environment.
A 5-year and Lifetime WireNews membership is also available (see the press credentials options page for more information).
Letters confirming accreditation are also provided electronically without additional charge to any venue or organisation requiring additional confirmation.

The first step in obtaining your WireNews Press Card is to navigate to the press credentials options page, select the "Registered Journalist" option you prefer, enter the required information when prompted, and upload your photo and then proceed to pay your membership fee. Once your card application has been approved, you will be granted Contributor account status.
WireNews accredited journalists may order a WireNews PRESS T-Shirt from the Mayside Market store.
